We know your ideas are extremely important to you and your business and we're very protective of them.

Application Security

Public Buckets

Public buckets are open for registered and non-registered users alike to view and contribute to. There is no security surrounding public buckets

Private Buckets

Private buckets can only be acccessed by a registered user who is invited by the bucket owner or a member of the bucket.

Encrypted Buckets

We’re extremely concerned and active about security, but we’re aware that many invididuals and companies are not comfortable with their ideas outside their firewall. For these individuals and companies we offer Encrypted Buckets.

You can encrypt all ideas within a bucket with a passphrase you specify. This passphrase is never stored on BounceOff.com's servers. The bucket contents are stored, encrypted, in our database and in the backups of the database.

In order to share an encrypted bucket with others, you must communicate the passphrase via a secure channel. When a user who follows an encrypted bucket logs in, they must enter the passphrase for that bucket. When communicating the passphrase, remember that email is not secure. Instead, a phone call works great.

Physical Security Measures

BounceOff's infrastructure is hosted on Rackspace, a publicly-traded company that’s committed to keeping your data secure. They provide us with state-of-the-art servers protected by biometric locks and round-the-clock interior and exterior surveillance monitoring. Only authorized personnel have access to the data center. 24/7/365 onsite staff also provides additional protection against unauthorized entry and security breaches.

Employee Access

No BounceOff employees ever access private buckets unless required to for support reasons. Support staff may log into your account to access settings related to your support issue.

Credit Card Safety

When you sign up for a paid account on BounceOff, we do not store any of your card information on our servers. It's handed off to Authorize.net, a company dedicated to storing your sensitive data on PCI-Compliant servers.
